Adopt a pug with CuppaPug
Welcome to CuppaPug Rescue
When you visit CuppaPug, you have the chance to meet and apply to adopt one of our adorable pugs wearing pink bandanas. Each of these pugs is on a journey to find their forever home, and you can make a difference by donating to their individual causes.
Your support helps cover essential needs like vet visits, medication, nutritious food, necessary operations, and even the efforts of our dedicated volunteers who travel far and wide to rescue them. Together, we can give these pugs the love and care they deserve.
Goose
Goose came from a loving home but unfortunately the couple's young child was allergic to him and with another child on the way they decided they wouldn't be able to give him the time he needed.
He did need neutering, improved exercise and a little weight loss. But he has been absolutely amazing in the cafe, so loving, so cuddly. He'd be amazing with kids; he will need a lot of attention and in a home that is active and can provide regular walks.
Status: Goose is currently on a home trial for the week to see how he fits in with a new family.
Bertie
Bertie was being given away for free, his previous owners had taken him in for a friend who had a breakdown in their relationship, unfortunately the new families daughter was allergic to him.
Bertie has been with us since before Christmas, he loves to sit with us and the kids.
He’s such a happy boy and always has his tongue sticking out.
He shows affection by nuzzling and licking our arms.
Bertie would be best in an only pug house as he wants all the attention and can be a little snappy of others get involved in his human time.
We are taking applications for Bertie in Manchester.
Porky
An absolutely loveable pug, Porkie had been used for breeding and came to us with a femal and a puppy after his owners heart breakingly had to surrender them when their new accomodation wouldn't allow pets.
He's a very calm and caring pug, he's five years old and really isn't bothered about treats. He does need a little more exercise because we don't think he got enough outside time.
We are currently accepting applications for Porky and you can meet him in CuppaPug London.
Buzz
Buzz is five years old and had been used for breeding, he does need to be neutered, currently he's a little frisky and needs to get used to a routine of exercise and regular engagement. He is very curious and needs to be mentally and physically challenged but he can also be very calm and turn into a hug machine.
Buzz would suit a home with children that are active and have the time to give him.
We are currently accepting applications for Buzz and he can be viewed at CuppaPug London.
Poppy
Poppy is still a puppy herself, she has a lot of love to give. She’s a lap dog and every session in the cafe will find a knee to chill on. She is very independent and can be vocal around other dogs until she gets to know them.
Poppy is the mum to Olive and she has been a great mama looking after her. She will need some training on basic commands.
Poppy would be great with another dog that is willing to play and also children.
Status: We are currently taking applications for Puppy and can be seen at CuppaPug Manchester.
Olive
Our puppy... we are still discovering who she is, she's only seven weeks old and is the puppy of Puppy. We are taking applications for her in Manchester but she will stay with her mum until she's 10-12 weeks.
Edna
Edna was rescued with Ernie, Edna is a lovely calm pug, she is around 8/9 years old and has been used for breeding. We have no history of Edna but she a is loveable soul. She is very food orientated and will make sure she’s around you whilst eating.
Edna needs a retirement home that is calm, she’s not fussed with other dogs. She loves a walk and even her age doesn’t stop her.
Edna can be seen at CuppaPug Manchester.
Ernie
Ernie was rescued with Edna, again around 8/9 years old and used for breeder. Ernie is full of energy, he needs some discipline with training as he doesn’t listen to commands.
Ernie loves a bum scratch and lots of attention.
With the right owner he will be a great addition to any family home.
Ernie can be seen at CuppaPug Manchester where you can also apply to adopt him.
